Life of Dafi
The Malaysian singer Dafi instantly shot to fame after the fifth season Akademi Fantasia, a hit reality TV show in 2007. His full name is Gaddafi Ismail Sabri. It was his first ever appearance. Ever since then, the number of fans for Dafi is increasing. Dafi soon became the teenage heart-throb. He was chosen as the Berita Harien’s Readers’ Choice for the same year.
Dafi was only 19 years old when he made his first appearance on the reality show of Malaysia. He was among the thousands who came to the auditions for the show. He lasted only till week 7 of the show but today, he is the most talented and most popular newcomers in the music industry of Malaysia.
After his stint in the show, Dafi was signed by Norman, Yusry and Edry Halim. They are the icons of KRU Music Group. It was their confidence that Dafi can be groomed for stardom and they were right.
