Dafi: Another teen sensation!
Gaddafi bin Ismail Sabri or Dafi as he is popularly known, came into limelight after he was on the popularity charts of the famous show called Akademi Fantasia. Akademi Fantasia is a very popular music show, which have given excellent voices each year. Dafi, is one such voice that has taken the Malaysian audience by storm. This is one of the first reality television shows that the Malaysian audiences have been subjected too and this has already found a lot of takers.
Two year’s back, the event has found a very cute guy, who had taken the Malaysian television by storm and when asked about his popularity, he humbly replied that he was not even in the finals. After he was voted out in the eight week of the show, a lot of hearts were broken in Malaysia. This twenty one year old sensation was probably the most sought after rather than the competitors who have made it to the end and as a reason why, two years down the line he has his first album out. When asked about what he wanted to do in life, he said that he had always wanted to be a singer and that is what he is looking forward to. He started singing at the year of twelve and since then he has not looked back. He said at an interview that the song that won him a dance contest when he was twelve years old was the reason of his demise from the competition. Read more…
